I find it very interesting that Honda took it upon themselves to complete an entire inspection of the vehicle when we didn't ask for one to be done.

I was in the market for a new Civic and Bel Air Honda was the first place we visited after looking around online. I ended up buying the first car I drove! Scott was very friendly and helpful, the whole process was easy and as fast as buying a new car can be. I was even able to trade in my 20 year old Civic that we were just going to send to a junkyard, and they towed it off our property for free. I love my new car and loved the service we received at Bel Air Honda. Fantastic staff, no pushy salespeople, and great prices on their cars!

The service tech called in the afternoon to inform us of multiple issues wrong with the car. They had performed an entire inspection of the vehicle and claimed multiple parts had dry rotted on the car and they needed to be replaced immediately. They also informed us the child safety lock needed to be turned off and that's the only issue with the door. We asked them to not perform any work to the vehicle and we would come pick it up.

After spending an arduous amount of time researching used and new cars on Auto Trader, and similar websites, and visiting other dealerships, my 20yr old daughter set her sights in a new 2017 Honda Civic EX. Being her first car, budget was my main focus. We found the best pricing in Virginia, and we were willing to make the 2hr drive to get it. With my research done and competitive price in hand, I decided to try our local dealer, Heritage Honda of Bel Air, MD to see if they could save us the drive. I put an online inquiry in for a quote. Their Internet Salesperson, Chris Brown, responded within minutes with a price, but higher than the Virginia dealer. Chris was very respectful, emailing each me to see what he could do. When I provided him with the specifics on the deal I was seeking, he immediately engaged his Sales Manager, Chris Schroeder, who called me within minutes. Again, Chris Schroeder was very nice, respectful, and not pushy. We agreed we'd buy the car that night, if we got the desired terms we were seeking. Within minutes we had a deal. This was 6:30pm. By 7:15pm we were at the dealership, greeted by Chris Brown and Chris Schroeder, who then turned us over to Sales Consultant, Scott Cheuvront, to assist us with the rest of the purchase. Scott Cheuvront was a true pro!! Scott was laid back, courteous, easy to talk to, and most importantly, very knowledgeable about his product! We couldn't have asked for a better experience...out the door with all the finance paperwork done (thanks to Finance Mgr. Mike Dowdy) and driving away in our new car within 2hrs!!!

This is a place you can trust!! Like any other car buyer, I was shopping around for quite some time until I found this dealership. J R is an amazing salesman, he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He listened to my needs and wasn't trying to push anything on me just to make the sale. He takes his time to explain anything you might want to know about the car or your potential purchase. Walked out of there happy in my new car. My next car will definitely be from there. Great Prices. J R is the MAN!

When we went to pick the car up, the service department informed us the price to turn off the CHILD SAFETY LOCK was $110. This seems completely unreasonable.

Very good customer service. Our sales rep Dennis was exceptionally helpful and professional. Managers are ok but I guess it's their job to be stubborn:) Overall great experience with buying a car from them.

We dropped the car off in the morning. We asked them to only look at the door and call when they had diagnosed the problem.

We have since taken the vehicle to our mechanic we normally use for our service. They did an inspection of all parts on Honda's report. They said all of the items would pass MD State inspection that Honda claimed needed to be replaced.

I would not recommend going to Bel Air Honda for any service needs. I don't feel as though they can be trusted with service on our vehicles and I will avoid taking our cars here at all costs.

My wife and I had a terrible experience with Heritage Honda's service department. Our CR-V's back door would not open from the inside. We checked the child safety lock and made sure that was not the problem prior to taking to the service department.
