As always, the best dental experience ever with Dr. Parker and all of those working there with him. I drive 90 minutes from Pennsylvania to get there and have been doing do so for 20 plus years. I will not go anywhere else!
Dr. Wang did an extremely unsatisfactory job on my fillings. I knew from the moment I got home that something was wrong. When the numbness wore off I had horrible shooting pain unlike any other pain that I've had after getting a filling. I looked at the fillings in the mirror and my two teeth that the fillings were done on were completely flat. A few days later I was flossing my teeth and when I flossed in between the teeth that the fillings were on the entire filling came out. I was left with a shard of a tooth that had been grinded all of the way down to the gum. I thought that I was in pain before but this pain was so excruciating, the nerve was exposed and even breathing hurt. I was bawling my eyes out terrified at what had become of my mouth. I called Fallston Dental Care and pleaded with the receptionist to get me in ASAP. She told me that it wasn't uncommon for fillings to come out days after them being done. I told her that I did not believe that it would be fair for me to have to pay for the visit to get it fixed and she said okay but you have to see Dr. Wang again and her next open appointment isn't for three days. I was so upset. I didn't want to see Dr. Wang again but stuck it out and went in three days later, starving and exhausted because I hadn't been able to eat or sleep from the pain. Dr. Wang took me back into the office and had me lay down. She kind of seemed annoyed and did not care to ask how I was or explain to me what happened. She then proceeded to drill my exposed nerve and shard of a tooth with no lidocaine! I tried to endure the pain because I just wanted my tooth fixed but after about ten seconds I had to stop the drilling. I felt as thought I was going to faint or scream. I explained to her how excrutiating the pain was. She sprayed water and air on it anyway. I felt like I was 110 degrees and was drenched in sweat. She put the filling material on the tooth and hardened it. I left the office in tears. For the next two weeks my jaw was swollen, hot, and throbbing in pain. I was chewing a piece of gum and sure enough the filling pops out again. I called Fallston Dental Care and said that the filling came out again and that I needed to have another dentist that worked there fix my filling for free because of all of the suffering I had gone through. The receptionist refused my plea and said that I have to see Dr. Wang in order to wave the cost. I then decided that it was time that I see another dentist. I found a dentist and explained to him what happened. He numbed me very well and did the filling the proper way. He said that he was shocked that my exposed gum was drilled without lidocaine. He recommend that I never go to that dentist again and explained that age had drilled my tooth to nothing and drilled way too much away. He said that there was permanent damage done to the two teeth but he would fix it to the best of his ability. He tried to bring some anatomy back to three tooth since it was completely flat. He fixed my tooth six months ago. The filling has held up but I am still not able to chew on that side. I had been going to Fallston Dental Care my entire life and I am 26. Dr. Parker is who I always dealt with which was a great experience but after this ordeal I will never go back there again. I am still upset about what happened. There is no reason why I should have had to gone through that. To put the icing on the cake I was sent a bill from them asking me to pay for the day Dr. Wang "fixed" my filling. I will never pay them for that. They should be paying me for all of the pain and suffering that I went through. I already had terrible anxiety about going to the dentist and especially getting fillings. This has caused my anxiety about the dentist to go up ten fold. I tried to tell myself that I can trust the dentist and that they will take care of me. This situation proved that thought wrong. If you go to Fallston Dental Care, do not go to Dr. Wang unless you want to risk going through the hell that I went through.
Today was the first time I have been to this dentist. It was by far the most pleasant experience I have had.
Always friendly, quick, nice ,etc. I always get treated like family when I came in. I recommended Fallston Dental care to my family and boyfriend and now they are members to who also continue to have great experiences there like me. :D
Everyone is so super nice at this office, especially Christine W., and there is never a wait. I won't go anywhere else.,
